Features

Ticket sales sources. From link to order.

Tag your event links and compare sources in the dashboard. Review views, sessions and linked paid orders, with the limits of the recorded data in mind.

0% is Evenda's commission on ticket sales. Subscription charges and your payment provider's fees are separate.

Example parameters

One email. One campaign.

Compare channels on equal terms

01

Sources and campaigns

Group data by source, source with medium, campaign or content parameter.

02

Event and date range

Select an event or review the organizer’s events over one date range. Use source, medium and campaign filters.

03

Views and orders

The table shows views, sessions, linked paid orders, amounts and conversion. Views are not a count of people.

04

Traffic without tags

Review direct visits, traffic without UTM parameters and cases with an unknown source separately.

02

How to start tracking

  1. Choose consistent names: source for the source, medium for the channel, campaign for the campaign name.
  2. Add parameters to event links for email, partners and other placements. Use a distinct set for each channel.
  3. Open the finished link as a guest and check that navigation does not remove the parameters.
  4. Select the event and date range in the dashboard, find your campaign and compare views with orders.

The example shows parameter names. Use your own values consistently so one campaign does not split across several rows.

03

Read the report in context

Attribution links an order to a recorded session. If that connection or the parameters are missing, the source cannot be reliably recovered. Other devices, forwarded links and changed parameters can affect the picture. Look for trends and check the report alongside the event’s overall orders.

01

Session-based conversion

Table conversion is linked paid orders divided by sessions. It is not the share of unique people who purchased.

02

Amounts are not profit

Amounts are shown in the dashboard currency. For financial results, account separately for discounts, refunds, fees and promotion costs.

04

Before launching a campaign

  • Keep a list of parameters and placements so the team uses consistent names.
  • Test the link as the guest will receive it, including any shortener or intermediate page.
  • Compare the same date ranges and event selection. Missing UTM data does not mean there were no sales.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Which UTM parameters should I start with?

Start with utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign. For example, newsletter, email and autumn for an autumn email campaign. The report also groups by utm_content to distinguish placements or ad variants.

Why might the report not show every order?

The report uses recorded sessions, links to paid orders and the selected date range. An order without that connection has no reliable UTM source. Check filters and compare the result with the overall order list.

Does a promo code replace UTM parameters?

No. A code records use of an offer, while UTM parameters describe a tagged link. One code may be shared through several channels or forwarded by guests. Agree on both codes and parameters when planning a campaign.

Does the report tell me my advertising return?

Orders and amounts in a UTM table are not enough. Add advertising and service costs, account for discounts and refunds, and check attribution coverage. Compare channels using a consistent method.
