How confirmation works

GoCardless confirms each payment with a server-to-server webhook. Evenda verifies the signature with HMAC-SHA256 before marking an order paid. Because bank debit can take a little time to clear, the order is confirmed when GoCardless reports the payment as collected, not on the redirect.

How to connect GoCardless and sell tickets

Sign in to your GoCardless Dashboard and open the Developers section.
Create an access token with read and write access and copy it.
Add a webhook endpoint for the Evenda GoCardless URL and copy its Webhook secret.
In Evenda, open Payment systems and choose GoCardless.
Paste the access token and Webhook secret, set the environment to Live and save.
Publish the event — GoCardless payments start working on the tickets page.
